Race to Build 5k/10k Trail Race
When: Sunday, March 4th, 2018 – 830am
Where: Southwest Williamson County Regional Park: 3005 County Road 175, Leander
The Georgetown Running Club is hosting the Race to Build 10K/5K Trail Race that will start in WILCO Regional Park on Sunday, March 4, 2018. The 10K will start at 8:30am followed by the 5K at 8:45am. Challenge your family, friends, and co-workers to come out and run/walk the race. The race will start and end in the parking lot of the disc golf/trail entrance parking lot. The race will feature a timed 5K run/walk with age group awards, sponsor booths, and tons of fun! Challenging 10K course that is on the trails in WILCO Regional Park. The 5K course is an out and back trail race that is mostly flat.

Due to the difficult terrain on the 10k course running strollers will NOT be allowed on the 10K course. This is for the safety of not only the person in the stroller but those on the course.
75% of the proceeds will be given to Habitat for Humanity of Williamson County. 25% of the proceeds will go to Williamson County Parks & Recreation.
Vern’s No Frills 5K
When: Saturday, January 20th, 2017 – 8am
Where: Berry Springs Park, Georgetown, TX
What will you get? The same course every month that is timed. Water stop on the course and water after the race. Results posted. A NEW course that is 3 miles of paved trail and 0.1 miles of cinders. No mud/dirt or wood chips! Only 5 turns on the whole course.
The race will be every 3rd Saturday of the month at 8am.
At the end of the year, minus any costs, the money will be given to the Williamson County Parks & Recreation.
Registration – Race Day Only
Race day registration will begin at 7am and arrive early so the race can start on time.
Free to students K-12
$1 for adults (cash or coins only)
Waivers must be signed when signing up for adults & children.
