Georgetown Turkey Trot 5 Mile Run & 1 Mile
When: Thursday, November 28th, 2019 – 8am
Where: Downtown on the Square, Georgetown, TX

Welcome and thank you for supporting the 7th Annual Georgetown Turkey Trot 5 mile run and 1 mile walk, both start at 8am.  The Georgetown Running Club and Sertoma are hosting this event.  Proceeds will be shared between the Williamson County Meals on Wheels and Friends of Georgetown Parks and Recreation (Park Pals).  We will also be collecting nonperishable food for The Caring Place on race day (look for the blue barrel to drop off the donations).

Packet Pick-up

Wednesday, Nov 27th, Georgetown Recreation Center, Georgetown, Texas from 11am-6pm;

Thursday, Nov 28th at the race start, 701 Main St, Georgetown, TX from 6:45-7:45am

The Caring Place barrel will be near the start/finish line, packet pick-up, and registration area.  Below is their top 10 pantry needs:

Vern’s No Frills 5K
When: Saturday, December 21, 2019 – 8am
Where: Berry Springs Park, Georgetown, TX

Vern’s No Frills 5K is just what it sounds like… a 5k with no frills and a price to match! Free to students K-12 and $1 for adults.

What will you get? The same course every month that is timed. Water stop on the course and water after the race. Results posted. A NEW course that is 3 miles of paved trail and 0.1 miles of cinders. No mud/dirt or wood chips! Only 5 turns on the whole course.

The race will be every 3rd Saturday of the month at 8am.

At the end of the year, minus any costs, the money will be given to the Williamson County Parks & Recreation.

Registration – Race Day Only
Race day registration will begin at 7am and arrive early so the race can start on time.
Free to students K-12
$1 for adults (cash or coins only)
Waivers must be signed when signing up for adults & children.
